Each month I’m going to post a list of the events which might be of interest for those studying death and disposal, including courses, exhibitions, talks, conferences, art, and book launches.

The Art of Dying
An exhibition running between the 7th November and 5th December 2014, at the Chaffee Arts Centre in Rutland, which aims to honour 40 years of Hospice in the US, as part of National Hospice and Pallative Care month. For all the details, including events on the opening night – check here.

Documentary about Glasnevin Cemetery. Showing until 6th November at Light House Cinema. Book here.

Exhibition continues until November 15th, with late opening on 7th November

Dirty Old London
The book launch for this fascinating new volume by Lee Jackson (including a chapter called Vile Bodies The overcrowded graveyard) is on 19th November at the LSE Wolfson Theatre from 6.30-8pm. More information about the event here
