Christmas is fast approaching and boy has 2015 been a busy year for me. I’m looking forward to a few days off work and eating more cheese than should be humanly possible (I’m a vegetarian, so the appearance of festive cheeseboards is a big highlight of Christmas food for me, and I never have to suffer leftover turkey).
Before I can relax though I still have a busy couple of weeks – including finishing fieldwork at Highgate (for the year at least) in the next couple of days and I’ve barely started my Christmas shopping!! Looks like there are still cemetery events to enjoy too, I’ve collected a few here, but please comment if you know of more!

Christmas Wreath Making – Arnos Vale
This seems to be a popular activity for cemeteries in December and I think it’s a wonderful idea, especially given the abundance of evergreen foliage in most cemeteries. The workshop at Arnos Vale is on Sunday 13th December 2015 (1-4pm). Check it out here.
